Amman – May 2005 - Jordaninvest, the first Jordanian public shareholding company offering a variety of integrated investment banking services, announced the appointment of Hani Al-Ali as Executive Vice President/ Corporate Finance, in extension of an eighteen-year long career in various economic, financial, and administrative fields here and abroad.
Hani Al-Ali, as Executive Vice President/Corporate Finance, will oversee the company’s services pertaining to issuing of bonds, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, financial advisory, and privatization. Al-Ali, who contributed to the financial, administrative, and organizational restructuring of several companies, stated that he plans to advance the division through sustaining and building on the achievements of the previous management, while expanding the unit through adding in new expertise.
Forty-year old Al-Ali, who holds a B.Sc in economics from the University of Florida, served as an economist at the Royal Hashemite Court’s Economic Department after which he moved to assume various managerial posts at the Jeddah-based Alesayi Group Holding Company, where he worked for six years. Al-Ali also worked for nearly 18 months as Chief Operating Officer at Tantash Group, which incorporates TIS, imcan for Financial Services, and Cinnabon.
Upon taking his new post with Jordinvest, Al-Ali said, “I will work effortlessly with the team at Jordaninvest on addressing the company’s current clients while developing future clients.”
